I thank God for His gift of life.
We had our second appointment with Dr Gonzales today to get the result of the hair analysis.
It was a very educational and informative meeting. So much has been learned about Nicole's health.
The bad news is that there are still cancer cells active in her body system. The doctor remarked that we had to expect this as chemo does not get rid of all cancer cells.
The good news is that the level of the cancer cells can be managed and is not life threatening.
Based on the analysis the doctor developed a custom made prescription specifically for Nicole's health condition. According to the doctor, the protocol of the diet, supplements and enzymes that he is prescribing should keep the level of cancer cells under control. In addition, Nicole will have to follow a very strict diet - absolutely no meat, 75% raw vegetable, plenty of fruits and she has to take approximately 200 tablets of supplements, vitamins and enzymes daily, plus coffee enema twice daily.
The doctor mentioned that 80% of his patients have been successful in controlling the level of cancer cells with the remaining 20% that failed because they have not been rigorously following the prescribed protocol.
To adhere strictly to this program is not going to be easy. She will have to reduce her eating out. We shall be returning to Singapore as soon as possible so that she can get into a routine. She also needs to take organic food.
We shall continue to have Nicole followed by her oncologist Dr Karmen Wong at the same time. We are fortunate to have an oncologist who is supportive of complementary treatment.
With this treatment prescribed by Dr Gonzales, we hope that Nicole will not need to do chemotherapy again. Dr Gonzales warned us that it will take at least two years for the cancer cells to be fully under control.
We are planning to go to Lourdes - on May 25-27. Then we return to Mauritius on May 30 to go back to Singapore.
Good night from New York.
