It has been two years since our nephew, Pascal, started this blog. It has been quite a journey for both Nicole and me.
This morning I went to mass at St Paul church, which is near Bert's place. The readings started with the call to Samuel. It struck me that God has been calling to both of us during these last two years. I do not know about Nicole. But I asked myself the question " Have I been listening to Him?" And the Gospel reading was on the call of Jesus to the two apostles. John the Baptist said to them : Here is Messiah. The two went to Christ and asked Him: Where do you live? He replied : Come and see. They followed Him!
The priest at sermon asked us: Have we been listening to the call of God? For the priest, we have to listen with the heart. Listen with the heart.
Could Nicole's illness be a call from the Lord?
If this is so, then
"Here I am. I come to do your will." Responsorial Psalm: Psalm 40.
As we travel to Hannover, Germany, we pray for His continuing healing of Nicole.
