Day 821 Bad Mergentheim April 17, 09 - 20.45 hrs

Nicole has the results of the blood tests done when she checked into Hufeland. The tumor market CA 19.9 is above 100, which is higher than the last test result. The doctor here is of opinion that the cancer is active and there is a need to stop this. He is proposing to see if Nicole can support intravenous injections of mistletoe extracts. She will have the test done on Tuesday and if it is ok, she will have the first full injection on Wednesday. The doctor suggested that Nicole stays at least six weeks at the hospital to make sure that the cancer is under control.
We were of course taken back by this development, not expecting that the cancer would continue to grow. At the same time, we are glad that we did come to this hospital. At least we are going to try to stop the growth of the cancer.
The hospital can take 50 patients in total at any one time as it has only 50 rooms. It is full. As expected all the patients are with cancer. Patients come from as far as New Zealand, US, Canada, Central Asia and of course Europe. We eat in a common dining room. Food is geared to cancer patients. I am eating the same type of food. No meat yet! But the food is tasty and one will not die of hunger. I am hooked on Brewer's yeast drink - it tastes like beer with no alcohol. This drink is good for the metabolism and digestive system. Nicole has been taking Tibetan mushroom drink. She encouraged me to drink it today. My first taste - lodeur vache la for terrible putting it mildly. This drink was given by a Tibetan monk to a woman with cancer and the doctor has told her she cannot be cured. After drinking this for a certain length of time, she was completely cured. Thus this drink is available here.
The atmosphere here is relaxing. The staff is friendly.
We met with the psychologist of the hospital. She treats patients. There is also painting therapy - patients are encouraged to paint anything to express themselves and clay therapy - playing with clay to express any inner feelings. There is singing and dance therapy.
Finally there is the spiritual dimension - a chapel, mass twice per month, meditation.
This hospital is treating the cancer carrier not the cancer. A very holistic approach - compared to orthodox medicine that treat the tumor and cancer cells.
We hope that this treatment will assist Nicole's body, mind and spirit to be rebuilt and balanced so that cancer cells will not find an environment to survive.
I am also drinking water from the natural springs in a park near the hospital. The water helps the digestive system and bowel cleansing.
Again, we see the Divine intervention in our life journey. Here we are in Germany at Hufeland prompted by the Holy Spirit to make this trip and we are blessed that we are here so that Nicole can have this treatment at the right time.
Praise and thank God for this.
