Nicole underwent emergency surgery last Saturday evening. According to Dr Ngoi, she had her small intestines entangled and he had to remove part of it. The surgery was timely . Any delay could have been fatal.
Lesson learned: be careful to chew well any food and if feeling acute abdominal pain, consult a doctor immediately. For Nicole: call Dr Ngoi. We thank God for this positive outcome. There was no panic. I brought Nicole to A&E of Gleneagles after talking to Dr Ngoi. And the rest is history.
Nicole is recovering well.
