We recently had the visit of a friend who has been diagnosed with cancer in his liver. Modern medicine i.e. chemotherapy and radiation cannot do much for him anymore. I say anymore as he was given chemo drugs but these did not have much effect on the cancerous tumors in his liver.
Both Nicole and I were very sad to witness this situation. Initially we were also thinking of Nicole's situation and what could happen later.
However, we are now more convinced that there has to be a better way to deal with cancer. If we do believe that cancer is the symptom of an impaired immune system, then we need to repair the immune system so that it can then effectively get rid of cancer cells that are always present in one's body.So far we know of Dr. Gonzalez's treatment "http://www.dr-gonzalez.com/" and the Gerson treatment "http://www.gerson.org/" see also "http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/pdq/cam/gerson/patient".
Last Sunday gospel is very appropriate:
St Luke 17:5-10
If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you would say to the mulberry tree, "Be uprooted and planted in the sea," and it would obey you!'"
Meanwhile, we are taking life one day at a time, enjoying every single moment as much as we can. We are planning our trip to the US for Nicole's check up with Dr. Gonzalez and also to spend time with Bert, Nicolas and family. We are also excited to spend time with Nina, who is growing up so fast. Greg is now working with me as a consultant. We thank the Lord for His many blessings.
