We received a good news today.
The blood test results show that there is a slight progress in the red cell counts. All other vital functions are ok.
This is indeed a break for us as Nicole has been having and is still having internal bleeding. Her red cell counts went downhill since we were in Mauritius. The doctors were concerned that she might need blood transfusions if the red cell counts reached a critical level.
We are indeed blessed by God.
All the prayers of family members, relatives and friends have been very helpful. Nicole, in spite of her weakness, searched through the Internet for iron rich food, inspired by the Holy Spirit. She ate lots of these iron rich foods: lentil soup, dates, figs, grape fruit and even water melon.
"Aides toi et le ciel t'aidera!"
God performs his work through us and this is a good example.
Instead of giving up and do nothing, Nicole had the strength and courage to continue to look after her health. Fortunately there is the Internet and Google. They allow her to find the information needed.
One day at a time. Praise the Lord.
