It was not an easy day. Nicole has been feeling weak during the entire day. She could not attend mass and we were planning for her to go to church to receive Communion but she felt too weak to do so. This is the first time she could not attend mass on a Sunday.
Tomorrow the husband of Maud will bring Communion for her.
We continue to have hope and faith. Only God, through the enzymes, can control the growth of the tumor. However, let it be His Wish and His Way.
We have been given the greatest gift - Jesus Christ, who came for us! the mystery of the Incarnation and the birth of the Son of God give both of us comfort as we travel this part of our journey of life.
We thank God for the precious moments He is giving us to be with each other, to just be in the presence of each other.
Praise the Lord for this day. One day at a time.
