An observation: A couple of weeks ago, whenever I called or saw matante, Nicole, I would ask how she was feeling. Her reply would be "How could I say I am feeling good when I have cancer".
Interestingly, more recently, the reply to the same question would be "I am full of energy. I did so many things today, went out, exercised, etc .. Or, I was not feeling too good at one point today but doing OK generally." Positive and energised ...
Tonight, I paid matante Nicole a visit as "Ma Soeur", Ivy, could not wait to "feed" me with Mauritian food or whatever food comes under her hands. "Growing boy", she says. Yah, I was "missing in action" since last Friday.
And goodness, I must say that matante Nicole had much more energy than I had. I was just dead tired after work. Amazing!!!! It was a nice evening and I got reenergised thereafter!
