We are calling it a day after this special day of prayer as Nicole will undergo the second treatment of her third chemo cycle tomorrow . Thanks to all of you who have joined us in prayer. We have been thinking of you and felt comforted and touched by your love - the love of God that you are giving us.
I was particularly touched by this email:
This is a very uplifting message. We have received so many emails today. Thank you for your caring, thoughts and support.
Late morning Nicole went with Anna to the Divine Mercy prayer at Novena.
Late afternoon we did some food shopping - Nicole wanting to eat mangosteen and we then went for a walk at the Botanical garden.
The picture shows Nicole on the bench where we usually sit to enjoy the garden, Today we stayed until 20.00 hrs and enjoyed the calm and peace of the end of the day in garden. We thank God for this gift of the beauty of nature.
We went for a quiet dinner at the American club during which Nicole and I shared how our life has changed since Nicole's illness. Our priorities have changed.
Tomorrow is a chemo day and Nicole has appointment with the oncologist at 9.15 hrs for the blood test results followed by chemo.
Good night.
