Day 58 Singapore March 13, 2007 - 22.36 hrs

We had a quiet day enjoying the presence of Greg. We attended the 12.15 mass at Novena. Before Nicole, accompanied by Anna, attended the healing prayer session. After mass we had a nice lunch with Nicole now paying particular attention to what she eats, She is not eating any meat, fish, egg, dairy products and sugar.

Animal protein leaves an acidic "ash" after being burnt by the body and makes the body become acidic. Cancer cells thrive in an acidic environment but die in an alkaline environment. Nicole keeps track of the level of the pH of her body and ensures that her body is at the right pH level.

Egg and dairy products produce mucus in the body and cancer cells thrive in the mucus. Cancer cells feed on sugar.

Thus the strategy is to starve the cancer cells of their nutrients and eliminate the environment that is conducive to their growth. This is what is called 'to cut the supply line of the enemy" in a battle.

In addition, she is taking 10 grams of vitamin C daily. Vitamin C is a cancer cell killer.

She continues to drink fresh fruit and vegetable juice daily. The surgeon reminded her to drink these juices.

We are better prepared for this third cycle of chemo and I am hoping that Nicole will be able to withstand the side effects.

We are blessed to have medical doctors who believe in complementary treatments and encourage us to take supplements and vitamins.
