Two days ago Nicole had a good day.
Yesterday was difficult for her. She was feeling weak.
Today she went for a blood test this afternoon, The results are not encouraging. Her oncologist is concerned about her low level of haemoglobin and albumin.
Day by day I am seeing her physical conditions slowly deteriorating. Unless a miracle, it appears that the cancer is gaining ground.
Spiritually Nicole mentioned that she is experiencing God's love for her and God's presence in her life. Today she mentioned to me that persons with cancer are blessed as they can prepare themselves for death. We are fortunate as we have been able to share our feelings about death.
The journey is getting more difficult.
We have to let go and let the Lord be in charge. There is nothing much we can do. We are following treatment prescribed by the doctors. We are now in a wait and see mode. We have to be patient. We can only pray so that we can accept whatever the outcome and be strong with the help of the Lord.
