Nicole is off her supplements and pancreatic enzymes as from today. She still has fever though.
We got the results of the blood test done yesterday. Haemoglobin count continues to decrease to 7.8 from 8.5 on Jan 9, albumin 21, down 2 points from previous 23.
The downward trend in the haemoglobin count is alarming, This is going down even with Nicole eating liver and taking iron supplements. It looks like she is losing too much blood. We shall be discussing with her doctors about possible blood transfusion. We still have not found a way to stop the internal bleeding.
We felt it a set back that the haemoglobin is down even with all the efforts Nicole is doing to eat iron rich food.
However, we still continue to thank God for His gift of life. We are happy to live another day.
