Day 2: Singapore/Wed 17 Jan 07: 7.03pm

Just went to see matante Nicole and tonton Mce. Matante Nicole was asleep. They are still waiting for the biopsy tests that were done in New York. Surgery has been ruled out for the time being.

Today, they met with the oncologist and went through the MRI scan. All the bones are cleared from any cancerous cells except parts of the rib bones. There are traces of white spots (cancerous cells) in the lungs but there is also one spot in the liver. For the first scan of the liver, the tumour was about 3mm. Today, it has grown to 1.6cm.

As mentioned in my earlier postings, the uterine cancer could have possibly spread to the other parts of the body. It could be a new cancer but which is not so aggressive. It could also be a new cancer which may be in the most virulent form.

Let's hope that the biopsy results from NY will bring us some light.

Tomorrow, they will be meeting with the oncologist at 2pm. I will be on leave and I will be there with them at the hospital.

Hope and prayers, we will all need in these difficult times.
