To everyone reading this, I think it may be a good idea to show Mom how many people care about her, are praying for her, and/or are thinking about her. I hope that this will provide a quick and effective way for her to gain strength and courage. If you could, please add a comment to this posting.

Dear Aunty Nicole, Ton Maurice, Bert, Nick, Greg and family,
I can very much imagine what everyone is going through right now and each one of you will be dealing with your mum's cancer and health condition in different ways. However, I am sure that your mum knows that you care and can count on your support.
When my dad went to Singapore and did all the tests, the doctors told him that his cancer was at the beginning of the last stage and they gave him only 6 months. That was September 2001. But he never gave up and started his treatments a few days later (he wanted to start straight away - you all knew how he was - but no rooms were available!).
He did all his research, questionned all the doctors (some even started to avoid him) and even took part in a trial for a new treatment.
At the end, he did leave us but he proved the doctors wrong by 2 years. I just wished that I could have spent more time in his company especially during his long stays in Singapore.
There is no cure for cancer but we can fight it and every day should be lived fully.
Today, the doctor who was treating my dad in Singapore is using his medical case in lectures to demonstrate how a patient's willingness to fight the disease can prove the initial diagnosis wrong.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Andy, Marlinda and family.
PS: My mum and Shirley will be in SIN as from 7th Feb.
Dear Auntie Nicole,
Swee ying and I together with a group of Pastors are praying for you.I have become a Christian encouraged by Cardinal Margeot during breakfast at your Claymore appt when he was there with Pere Bathfield.Since then I have encountered many Cancer, kidney and heart patients who were healed by the grace of God. And since the day I received verse Matthew 9:20-22 during a prayer, I knew that a miracle is possible. I have spoken to a Brother in Christ, Leong Po Lye, an old man of 70 years old whom God has used to heal cancer patients and others patients, to pray for you and he has accepted. His Singapore HP no is 90086234.Pastor Joseph Prince of New Creation church Singapore with 11000 members week in week out,is also waiting for you.Call Miss Molly Goh at tel no. 63384565 and she will arrange the prayer. Auntie Nicole, take this first step of faith and God Grace will be upon you. I love you Auntie Nicole and would like to see you healed like the few peoples whom I have prayed for and God did the rest by healing them.Love
Dany, Swee Ying, Matthew, Shaun and Justin
Dear Auntie Nicole,
You are in our thoughts and in our prayers constantly.
I've been sharing stories with Pat about the good times our families have spent together.

Dearest Auntie Nicole, Tonton Maurice, Bert, Nicky, and Greg
My mum has been keeping me up to date and asking me to explain things for her.
As a doctor, it still frightens me how fast any Tumour can grow, how far it can spread and how devastating it can be.
I am impressed by the organisation around your well being. Medical, Emotional, Faith and Family.
We are thinking of you and you are in our Prayers daily... in all time zones.
We love you Lots.
Stevie, Anne and Rhys.
Hello Tante Nicole,
Nous te souhaitons beaucoup beaucoup de courage pour combattre la progression de cette maladie. Il faut garder la foi et jamais ne baisser les bras.
Nous pensons à toi très fort dans nos prières.
Et à tonton Maurice et les garcons.
Bises,
Patty, Kim, Val, Ronny, Benjamin et Adam.
Dear Auntie Nic,
having been through 2 bouts of cancer myself, I can somewhat relate to what you are going through, but in a much smaller degree.
You are constantly in our thoughts.
As you can see, all the family is rallying around you, and although we cannot be with you physically at this time, we are with you in our prayers.
Keep your spirits up,it is half the battle.
Love,
Joyce
Dear Auntie Nicole, Uncle Maurice, Bert, Nick, Erin, Nina and Greg,
We're thinking of all of you... We're keeping you all in our prayers... Hang in there...
Love,
Peggy & Thomas
